5,000 antique items to be displayed at Hoi An museum
More than 5,000 antique ceramic, wood and copper items will be exhibited at the Hoi An Museum late this year, central Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An Town People’s Committee said Sunday.
The objects, which reflect the historical and cultural development of the ancient town of Hoi An, are an important source of historical data and are hoped to help both locals and visitors learn more about Hoi An.
A collection of ceramic objects from the 15th century collected from Cham Island waters and some 200 paintings from 20 domestic and international artists will also be on display.
