 Vietnam to open luxury Sapa train

Tickets for the high-end train will cost VND990,000 for a first class bed, VND340,000 for a bed in a four-person cabin, VND300,000 for a bed in a six-person cabin and VND200,000 for a sofa seat.

The train will have one elite first-class cabin, with the plushest amenities available on the train.

The 9-hour train will depart for Lao Cai at 11:50pm and for Hanoi at 12:30am.

Passengers can book tickets by calling (4) 9429919 from Hanoi or (8) 5174085 from Ho Chi Minh City.

There are 5 other trains from Hanoi to Lao Cai.

Currently, Vietnam only has two high-end tourist trains including the 5 Star Travel Train from HCM city to central beach resort town of Nha Trang.
